Glimmer Mist Embellishments
Photographing Glimmer Mist cards at the angle
that shows the best detail, also shows the least metallic
glimmer. I photographed this card to show the embossed
detail but the ATCs below show the metallic sheen that
Glimmer Mists create.
Links to the products used in these
samples can be found at the bottom of the newsletter.
The background panels on the card were
created using several colors of Glimmer Mists and Glimmer
Screens.
The dragonfly was created from the Spellbinders
flying beauties die and white cardstock. The embossed
patterns on the wings are raised just enough to catch
ink from a direct to paper ink application.
The fleur de lis on the card and the
oval decorative frame on the Faerie ATC are both embossed
regal Glimmer Chips, which come in a nice cream color.
The chips were spritzed with glimmer mist and then the
raised areas were brushed with a Brilliance dew drop
pad for added sparkle and contrast.

Glimmer Mist on Grungeboard
|
The wings on the flying star ATC are
Grungeboard shapes. Grungeboard looks especially great
with darker colors of Glimmer Mist. The dye really soaks
in and the glimmer stays on top.
