REFILLING YOUR JUDKINS TRIO TAPE DISPENSER

There are directions on the inside of the box that came with your dispenser, but they aren't very useful. It's very easy to get lost trying to figure out which reel goes where and which way it should go on so here some clear pictures and instructions!

  1. Take the clear lid off the base by pulling straight up.
  2. Pull out the components 1 by 1 until you get to the roll that needs to be replaced. (The 1/2" is on top and easiest to refill . It aksi costs the same to refill as the 1/4" and 1/8" rolls so I use that one the most.)
  3. Replace the components. When replacing the compenents these hints will make putting the tape back in correctly:
  • Make sure that each time you put in a roll, you give yourself some lead tape and that lead tape has the adhesive side facing toward the ridged guide on the inside of the bottom of the case (the 1/2" only has a ridged guide on the inside of the cover, but if you make sure that roll is going the same direction as the other two, you'll be fine.
  • The 1/8" tape goes through the guide on the base that is niether the tallest, nor the shortest. The 1/4" tape goes through the tallest guide on the base and 1/2" tape doesn't get much of a guide on the base because it's guide is on the clear top.

Put the compenents back in in this order from bottom to top:

  • 1/8" tape roll
  • larger red separator as shown, with flatter side down
  • 1/4" tape roll
  • small red sparator with flat side down (I actuall fit this into the 1/2" tape roll as shown and replace the two together. You just have to make sure the tape is rolling off in the same direction shown)
  • 1/2" tape roll

*important note: there is a notch in each of the red separators. After you put the top red separator in durn it until you feel it click in, otherwise the clear cover won't fit back on correctly.

  1. Replace the cover. the tip marked 12mm matches up with the half inch lead tape. Take care that each roll of tape is fitting through the holes before pushing cover down.
