CHIPBOARD BOOK
sample project

Project created by Marilyn McMillan. Her books make
great gifts. If you would like to purchase one of her books, please contact her by E-mail.

Marilyn McMillan started this book by cutting textured card stock to the same size as each page of the chipboard book.

The covers of the chipboard book are perforated, but do not cut or bend the covers. Simply cover them with card stock.

Use scissors or a craft knife to cut the corners of the card stock to match each page. Be sure to measure the longest part of each page when cutting your card stock. You need to cut your card stock to accomodate the tabs on each page.

As you cover each side of the chipboard with card stock, punch holes using a 3/8" hole punch through the holes that come punched out in the Zsiage tab book. If you cover both sides before punching, it can be hard to find the hole.

Each page is created differently. Feel free to use these layouts for ideas or create your own!

The verse on the cover is stamped on vellum using Noir Palette ink. The flower image in the corner is a rub on that comes with the paper. The stiched paper along the bottom is a die cut that comes with the Odyssey Paper pack. The flower and center button come with the coordinating Odyssey flowers. The flower was embellished with stickles. The fabric tied to the binder rings is from WeaveWerks.

This page uses stamped images from the Blockheads Stackable Ornamentals sheet, a vellum envelope and rubons from the Odyssey paper kit. The stamped images are embellished with stickles.
