MICRO MARBLES / MICRO BEADS TEQNIQUES
Scrapbook Layout Ideas

Micro Marbles were used in two ways on this page. Two red liner tape die-cut hearts were used. The larger was adhered to glossy black paper and the protective liner was removed. The smaller was placed inside the first, with the liner left on the top. Fancy Flakes were poured over the exposed area and pressed into the tape. The liner was then removed from the smaller heart and red Metallic Micro Marbles were poured over the entire heart. Not only did they fill in the center, but they filled in the gaps left by the Fancy Flakes. The word frames were created by using a rectangle layer of red liner tape behind the corregated card stock, 1/4" larger on all four sides. Silver Metallic Micro Marbles were poured over the exposed tape. The same effect could have been achieved with a 1/4" red liner tape roll. Since corregated card stock is sometimes tricky to adhere, however, the red liner tape made a nice very sticky background. It won't budge, now.

Red Liner tape was trimmed and used behind the die cut flower border to create a sticky center for the beads to adhere to. The leter tags were created by using an ink jet or laser printer to print out the word love onto plain white paper. The word was cut into squares for each letter and placed face down onto red liner tape. The tape was then trimmed around the letters. When the backing was removed from the red liner tape, light pink Glass Micro Marbles were poured over the letters. Four larger squares of red liner tape were cut and the pink emobssed letters were adhered to the middle of an exposed side of the larger squares. Hot Pink Metallic Micro Marbles were poured over the exposed border. The backing was removed from the red liner tape and the letters were adhered to the tags.
