Place your mouse over each step number to change the image on the right to show that step.

Step 1 - Stamp your foreground image first , the image you want to have on top.

Step 2 - Use the same stamp to stamp a yellow sticky note, making sure that you utilize the top of the paper that will actually adhere.

Step 3 - Cut out the image, as closely to the borders of the image as you like. Leaving a "shadow" or an area of unstamped border around the image can be interesting. In this instance, we didn't do that. We cut very close to the image border. I like to leave two sticky notes together when I cut so I can keep the cutout with the image on it with the stamp for later use.

Masking

Step 4 - Place the cutout directly over your original stamped image.

Step 5 - Use the stamp or inking technique you want in the background, using the sticky note to protect your image.
