Now
you are ready to stamp however and whereever
you wish.
For the tea holder that I made, I used a light
aqua blue cardstock and stamped it with stamps
from the Coffee Tea set, using Tea Dye and Broken
China Distress Inks. One thing to note, you
will want to lay a piece of paper on the other
side of the fold so your stamped images don't
spill over onto the back of the card.
I stamped the tea box on white cardstock using
Distress Embossing Ink. I then used gold embossing
powder and heat set it. I very lightly sponged
some Broken China Distress Ink and Scattered
Straw Distress Ink on it just to give it a slightly
antique look. Using the sponge again and Tea
Dye Distress Ink, I sponged a little heavier
on the outer edges of the "tin." Using
my Dove Blender pen dipped in my Broken China
Distress Ink pad, I colord in the "T"
and the little box on the side.
I then cut out the tea tin and glued it to
the main flap of the pocket card. I stuck a
Chai Tea bag on the inside, tucked in the flap,
and had a nice little project to send to a friend
who wasn't feeling well.
