BLOCKHEADS REVIEW:
The look of altered art isn't for everyone and this book really dosen't have any rubber stamping in it. With a little imagination, however, you could picture your stamp art instead of the pre-printed papers in each of these projects. This book definitely covers the basics of distressing very well and with those techniques, the possiblities are endless.

Artistry Stamps & Paper Arts
by Suzanne McNeill

35 Full Color Pages. Today rubber stamps are used in dozens of innovative ways from embossing paper to making beautiful impressions in clay. In this book you'll discover exciting projects including jewelry, frames, cards, boxes, even purses and a lighted vase.
BLOCKHEADS REVIEW:
This is a nice book of altered object projects with several contributions from Tim Holtz and Judy Ross and others as well. If you're looking to just start moving beyond cards, this is a nice book of inspiration with some nice intermediate projects. If you consider yourself a beginner, but do know how to clean your stamps and have stamped enough to know that regular embossing ink doesn't dry on plastic and little tidbits like that, the instruction is good enough to get you going. We have two nice sets of stamps that will compliment these projects beautifully. Click either image below to go to our rubber stamps page.

Classy Canvas
by Tiffany Windsor

This book has 35 full color pages giving step by step instructions for dozens of projects.
BLOCKHEADS REVIEW:
After getting over the feeling that I was having Delta brand products forced upon me (when many others would do) I looked through again to see what I could get out of this book. It won't have you creating fabulous gallery quality pieces of artwork but some of the ideas are cute and nice looking and would look great in a coffee house. About 1/3 of the projects have a scrapbook feel with pictures and personal ephemera.

This booklet is a 10 page altered art primer with specific technique photographs as well as some specific projects.
BLOCKHEADS REVIEW:
This booklet if for the altered art newbie. Like the Altered Style Scrapbooks, this booklet has specific projects with specific materials lists. What I like about this booklet, is that for the price it gives a good introduction to a lot of different altered ideas including aging photographs and papers, adding tags, three techniques for lacing with fibers as well as the basics on what the best glue types are for different applications.

Altered Book Special Effects
by Laurie Goodson & Betsy McLoughlin

35 Full Color Pages. Altered Books are an exciting art form that you are sure to enjoy. There are many ways to embellish books and pages with an infinite variety of materials to enhance your designs
BLOCKHEADS REVIEW:
Not a lot of stamping done here. To me the title suggest that it would have advanced techniques, but it is more likely to be useful for a beginner who hasn't seen a lot of the interesting variations in altered books. You can decide if it has something new for you. It shows you how to cut a hole in the cover to display a found object or stamped art, how to embellish with metal hardware, how to paint on the pages, add magazine clippings and ephemera to collage, create mosaics with cut paper, cut windows and doors, mask words and cut the pages to weave in decorative paper, and cut pages at different widths to create layers.
