When images are stamped with this pad on glossy paper, they can be covered with glitter, foil leafing, mica powders or flocking Most techniques only work on glossy or coated papers. Heat the stamped image before applying your glitter, powder or leafing until the image becomes tacky. You need to apply a lot of heat, taking care not to scorch your paper. For flocking, apply the flocking before heating. It doesn't adhere as well once you heat the glue. For some reason the flocking isn't damaged by the heat and it makes it possible to use the Palette Glue Pad on nearly any paper. It is not good for holding micro marbles or other inclusions like JudiKins Roxs. The black color does make for a bolder image when used with glitter, mica powders or flocking. It doesn't make any difference for leafing because there is no part of the glue showing through the leafing.
