items do tend to stick to the adhesive as they slide in and out of the bag if
the adhesive is on the flap. The protective envelopes have the adhesive on the
outside of the envelope. It is the same adhesive, but the flaps seem to come
open a little easier on the protective envelopes so they're not quite as secure.
These are a good choice if the bag may be opened and closed and reused much. Opening Width: 7 1/4"The first dimension given is always the opening width. Mailing through USPS:We don't advise using protective envelopes for mailing. There is usually some excess flap that can get snagged and pulled open. For a mailing envelope this size, try A7 or A7 Plus Envelope. Archival Safe:These are made from 100% virgin polypropylene which is naturally acid and lignin-free.
