Blank Coasters
These are the nice thick coasters made of pulpboard that chain restaurants like Outback have printed. They're great to stamp on. They are a little porous so really juicy ink pads may bleed slightly.
An ink is needed that can be heat set to be waterproof, like
Ranger's Archival pads
Palette Hybrid Pads
Brilliance Ink Pads
VersaCraft Pads or Markers
ColorBox Chalk Pads
Links to these inks can be found at the bottom of this page.
Heat set your ink with an embossing tool or iron on cotton setting and the inks won't run at all. These are so fun to make and inexpensive. They're disposable because they can't be reused if they get spilled on but they're so inexpensive and fun to make that throwing them away so you can make more is almost a good thing!
