They make fabulous gifts! The image shown to the left is a standard Bic pen covered in stamped images and clear micro beads. See the bottom of the page for instructions on making this pen. We don't carry the Bic pens because you can get those for a great price at an office supply store. These have long been the standard pen used for beaded pens but have some flaws: 1) you can't put the cap back on so you end up with the ink point unprotected 2) they aren't terribly comfortable to write with because there are beads where you would normally rest the pen on your fingers 3) the barrel is thin so the pattern in the underlying artwork needs to be very small to be visible from any angle. The upside is that they are very inexpensive.
