The PetalPoints, Cat's Eyes and Options pads do not come with the skin technology type of foam pad that the full size pad does. Many stampers have enjoyed watercoloring with the reinkers. The inks are not very opaque on dark colored papers. For a more opaque chalky looking ink try VersaMagic. Options pad mini pads come out and can be rearranged. Be aware, however, that the manufacturer has chosen not to let the pads touch to keep the dye based ink in each pad from contaminating the others. This prevents the pad from being able to be used as a rainbow ink pad. Colorbox Chalk ink is non-toxic and permanent when heat set.
