Brilliance Ink Pads are available in full size pads or smaller dew drop pads. On both the pad is raised above the case so they can ink any size image. Brililance stamp pads are a pearlescent pigment ink that can be heat set for permanence on most surfaces, but do not work well on metal. Brilliance Archival Pigment Ink is excellent for most glossy surfaces, including vellum, photos and coated papers. Brilliance Ink is also perfect for stamping on or applying directly to ordinary paper, tissue, wood and other porous surfaces. Most colors are pearlescent, a select few are matte. Brilliance inks, like most pigment inks need to be reinked fairly often. We recommend getting a reinker with your ink pad. This also gives you the ability to squeeze a drop of ink from the Brilliance reinker to test the color before opening the ink pad. If you see a different in color between the images on the Brilliance reinker page and the Brilliance ink pad page, please assume the ink pad page is more accurate. The reliability of colors on the internet depends a lot on your monitor settings and brand as well as whether you are on a mac or a pc. We have adjusted the color settings on the pads for a pc and tested on several different monitors to make sure that we're displaying the closest Brilliance ink colors we can.
