Clear acrylic mounts for mounted unmounted rubber stamps or clear stamps. These acrylic blocks are generally 1/2" thick; some have guides for placing images and finger grooves.
Use acrylic mounts to temporarily mount unmounted rubber stamps. Use with clear stamps or rubber stamps with cling cushion or add Tack N' Peel to the mount so you can use it with plain unmounted rubber stamps.

More information about Acrylic Mounts
We carry several acrylic rubber stamp mounts. Generally most stampers have one good set with mounts ranging from 1 or 2" square all the way up to the largest stamps in their collection. It is often good to have 2-3 mounts that fit sizes of rubber stamps you use the most so you don't have to clean and remove one stamp from the acrylic mount, before you're done using it, just so you can mount another stamp.
You can use acrylic mounts with rubber stamps that are mounted on cling cushion by peeling the stamp from wherever you store the stamp and pressing to your acrylic mount. When finished, clean your stamp while still on the mount, remove it and replace it to your stamp storage area. If you are cleaning the stamp with a solvent based cleaner like StazOn, remove the stamp from the acrylic mount before cleaning it. Solvents cause crazing of acrylic which shows up as small cracks in the surface which can worsen over time.
You can also permanently apply Tack n' Peel from Tsukineko to your acrylic mounts for use with unmounted rubber stamps that have no cushion or backing on them. This method works especially well for small stamps like alphabets. Small stamps adhere much more strongly to the Tack n' Peel than when using them in conjunction with cling cushion.
We opened a brick and mortar store in Portland Oregon in August 2012, and we feature Make N Takes - highlighting the importance of teaching new stampers about this great craft and how to use the products!
