19 Jul 10I bought this ruler solely for the purpose of piercing. Since the holes are too small for any piercing tool I\'ve found, it\'s useless. But more than that, it\'s bowed in the center so none of the markings are accurate, and it slips and slides around, probably because it\'s bowed. A Centering Ruler is worth its weight in gold, but this is not the one to use because nothing about it is accurate.Bahb
05 Aug 09This ruler is great! It is so much more than a ruler.It has a centering guide on one side and wholes for prferating on the other. This is one tool you should not be without.Laura
28 Jul 09I love the design features of this ruler, the metal edge is an improvement over the clear ruler I have been using for years. The quality on my ruler is a bit disappointing, so I can't give it a 5 star rating. The lines on the ruler are not precise, they are bowed in the middle,if you need precision measurements, this is not the ruler for you. If you just need a good metal edge for cutting with a blade, it's very handy.Jean
27 Jul 09I would be lost without this ruler and it is the best one that I own. I love that it is multi-functional. 0 centering, paper piercing, and metal edge for cutting, along with horizontal and vertical markings for measuring. I have not had any problems with the ruler slipping and mine does not have any discoloration from the glued metal edge. I got one for my Sister and she loves hers just as much as I do.BrendaLea
25 Jul 09This ruler could be good for cutting because of the metal edge, but it's also very slippery. I cannot use it for cutting because it moves and I cannot get a straight cut. I bought this for the centering 0 and the piercing holes. I glued a narrow strip of shelf rubber to the back side to keep it from slipping while I was piercing.It needs to be made non-slip. I bought one for my sister and she didn't see that one end was poking out from under something near where she was heat embossing. The ruler quickly melted.Karlene-Frances
24 Jul 09This is nice b/c it has the metal edge on it and makes it nice to but the exacto blade up against. The holes however for paper piercing could be a bit better spaced and the ruler isn't that stable to hold in place while doing this.sue morris
24 Jul 09Was very disappointed in this ruler. The only thing I actually use if for is to paper pierce. And for the money I could use plastic neelepoint fabric. The ruler I recv'd looked like it had been run over by a truck, all scratched and discolored. I have more accurate rulers.Diana
