Pink Crop-A-Dile Multi Tool

Manufacturer's Description: Finally! No clicking, banging, pounding, twisting, or grunting. This all-in-one tool punches and sets eyelets, snaps, and so much more. Easily punch through any material, thick or thin, then set eyelets, snaps, or any metal embellishment into your project. Ideal for punching paper, leather, plastic, metal, chipboard, acrylic, fabric, wood, poly, and much more! Customer Review: I bought it 2 weeks ago and I don't think I've used eyelets on so many projects ever! It is absolutely the easiest way to set an eyelet I've ever tried. The first time I used it, I couldn't believe it was so easy. I've tried the Making Memories "silent" setter and found that it bothered my wrist and I was still having to hammer the back of my eyelet because it didn't flatten enough. This is by far the best way to do eyelets. It's a little intimidating to look at, but a great product. The only downfall so far, and the reason I'll be keeping my other setters around, is that it only reaches approx 2" in to a project. Fine for me since I mostly make cards, but I will need my older setters for any scrapbooking I do. - Review from Cynthi

30 Nov 09I loved the concept of this tool when I first saw my daughter use it, so I had to have it. However, I have arthritis in my hands with some limited mobility. It was very painful to get my hand around the tool to squeeze it, even though the squeezing was easy enough. So, I since have replaced it with the Crop-a-dile II Big Bite which has a lever action, which is so much easier for me to do. For this reason I am only giving 4 stars. The Crop-a-dile went to another daughter who loves it, so has not gone to waste. Connie H
12 Oct 09If you don't want the ability to punch a hole anywhere on your paper/cardstock/chipboard, you'll be happy with this product. Although I mainly make cards, even then I would like the ability to punch a whole wherever I like, so this disappoints me with the crop a dile. I'd be looking at purchasing the Crop a Dile Big Bite II as being better value for money and being more versatile. I was a bit daunted by the instructions for changing the settings for eyelet punching at first, scared that I would break the product, but once I understood the principles of how the product worked I was fine. 30 Aug 09I don't have the Crop-A-Dile, but I do have the Crop-A-Dile II Big Bite, so I thought I'd comment on the qualities that they share. What I love about it is that it'll punch through many types of materials with not much effort -- even if your material is kind of tough, like chipboard! Even if you're not into the look of eyelets and things like that, this is really great to have just as an extra-strong hole punch. I use mine all the time for punching holes through layers of paper bags when making paper bag mini albums. Instead of punching holes one paper bag at a time, I can punch through them all at once, which not only saves time, but also ensures that all of the holes line up properly! I also like to punch holes in chipboard so that I can thread twine or ribbon through or attach brads. A really great, must-have tool! chilicheesecat
26 Aug 09There is no better way to set eyelets than with a Crop-a-Dile! It's easy to use, can set different size eyelets and snaps and is fantastic for hole punching. The Crop-a-Dile literaly cuts through chipboard, leather and metals like they were butter. It's my favorite hole punch.Karlene-Frances

23 Jul 09I have used a couple of different tools to set eyelets and this is the best one yet! No having to switch tips on tools to accomodate various sided eyelets, no hammering required, and this can punch through chipboard. It's a quiet, easy to use, and sturdy Jen Cheek
