You may want to create a multi-color ink pad or one to ink particular stamp or need a large pad using an ink that doesn't come in a large size. Take care to make sure you're purchasing the right kind of pad (felt or foam) for the type of ink you are planning to use. You can generally mix ink colors but not types. Foam pads are meant for viscous thick inks like pigment inks including VersaColor, VersaMagic, VersaCraft, Encore, Adirondack Pigment, ColorBox Pigment, or Crafter's Ink.
