RUBBER STAMP ART CONTEST

Notice to all you talented artists out there! We're very excited to see what you do. From now until March 30th submit your stamp art using any Blockheads or Lost Coast (must be a design we carry) rubber stamps for a chance to win. We have 3 categories, each with its own prize. The amount of each prize is determined by the number of entries and outlined below.Categories are: ATC, Cards and 3D (or altered objects).

TO QUALIFY:

You must be subscribed to our E-mail newsletter as that is where we'll be announcing the winners. Artwork must use only Blockheads or Lost Coast stamps. If you're unsure, make sure you see the stamps you're using located here: Blockheads Rubber Stamps or Lost Coast. Only 10% of the area of the piece may be covered by photographic or printed ephemera like patterned paper, magazine photos, transparencies or rubons (this is a contest of your stamping artistry!).

SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES:

Artwork must be submitted either through our gallery into one of the three contest areas at http://www.blockheadsgallery.com or by mail to:

I'm sorry, but we cannot return items to you so if you're very attached to it, please send a photograph instead of the item. We also can't be responsible for any items lost by the post office. Be sure to include your name and E-mail address and title of your artwork.

If you have troubles submitting your entry through the gallery you can E-mail it ot me with a description and the name you want displayed.

DEADLINES:

The last day to upload your contest entries will be March 30th, 2010 at midnight PST. All mailed in entries must also be received by that date, so be sure to mail them early. Voting will be announced in the newsletter the week following with a cutoff period 3-4 days after the newsletter is sent.

JUDGING:

All subscribers of our E-mail newsletter will be asked to vote. They will be asked to vote for their single favorite based on stamping technique, and overall composition. The votes will be tallied by April 15th. Votes coming from non-subscribers won't be counted. Duplicate voting won't be counted. NEW TWIST: The winner will be determined by the total number of votes that person receives, so multiple entries will increase the liklihood of a contestant winning.

COPYRIGHTS AND USE AGREEMENT:

By uploading or mailing in a contest entry, you are agreeing to allow us to use that entry to promote our products. We may use it on our web site or use it in advertisements. You are still able to use your artwork or images of your artwork in any way that you like.
