Tea TimeTea Time

Pink, black and white card designed in celebration of the fine art of "Taking Tea'.
Photo submitted by Deborah Lee Grasty

Mount 6" x 4 1/2" black card stock mounted on 6 1/2" x 5" white card stock. On that, mount a 5 1/2" x 4" piece of pink parchment paper. On a 5" x 2 7/8" piece of white card stock, stamp the 'teapot, sugar & creamer' stamp in Pink 'Fluid Chalk'ink. On another piece of white card stock, stamp the same design, and also lightly stipple in the design with the pink fluid chalk ink and trim carefully around the entire piece. Mount that piece on black card stock. Trim in a 'rough-hewn way' all around the stamped piece so the black card stock is just a shadow around it. Mount this slightly below the other 'teapot' stamp. Mount this onto a 3" x 5 1/4" piece of black card stock. Attach in center of pink parchment card stock. Stamp 'Tea Time' on a 1 1/4" x 1 1/2" piece of white card stock, stippling the entire white piece of card stock with the pink fluid chalk ink also. Attach to a 1 1/2" x 1 3/4" piece of black card stock. Mount in lower right-hand corner of card, placing it 1/4" from side and bottom of pink parchment card stock. Stamp '...great deal of poetry...' (also stippling the entire piece of white cardstock) on a 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" piece of white card stock, and mount this on a 2 3/4" x 1 3/4" piece of black card stock, trimming this black card stock the same as the 'teapot" in a rough-hewn' manner. Attach in the upper left-hand corner of the card, placing 1/4" in on top and side on the pink parchment card stock. Put flower stickers on the teapot, creamer and sugar bowl, and also on the lower left-hand corner of the '...great deal of poetry...' piece. Attach a 2" piece of black and rhinestone trim under the main (teapot) stamped piece, centering it so it is evenly spaced on all sides.
