I love designing unique and original art jewelry featuring various game tile pieces especially when they're made from the same material as dominoes ;-) The focal point of my necklace is a large game tile that I altered in my 'Sharpie Domino Queen' style which is a 'domino technique' I pioneered in 2002 using Sharpies. First I drilled a hole in the top point of the game tile then stamped a portion of the Blockheads Cranes rubber stamp in Ancient Page dye ink and coloured them with Blue Ocean, Ice, Blueberry, Pomegranate and Flamingo Sharpies. I added a touch of sparkle to the eyes with an extra fine point silver paint pen then edged the tile and coloured the sides with a gold metallic paint pen. I sealed the entire piece with Judikins Diamond Glaze for a glass-like finish. Before the glaze dried I adhered two rose Swarovski crystals to the 'dots' or 'pips' on the tile that are similar to the dots on a domino. The final touch was to hang the pendant on a gold hoop necklace.
