I love giving new life to thrift store finds and created this Fairy Lamp Shade by stamping new panels for it using a variety of Blockheads Rubber Stamps. Photo submitted by Evelyn Duncan
I cut 4 panels from black cardstock to fit over the existing fabric panels of this lampshade. Then I stamped images from Blockheads Rubber Stamps half-sheets of Whimsical � Take Flight WH501, Whimsical � Faerie Wings WH502 and Architecture AR501 using white ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink onto the black panels. Once the ink was dry I sponged on various colors of Craft-T Decorating Chalks over the images. The decorated black panels were then glued onto the existing lampshade and trim was added to finish it off.
