Mini Fairy Sun CatchersMini Fairy Sun Catchers

These fun mini sun catchers were made using frosted ruff n ready Shrinky Dinks shrinkable plastic and Blockheads stamps from the Whimsical / Faerie Wings Set and the Whimsical / Take Flight Set.
Photo submitted by Evelyn Duncan

I stamped the Blockheads images on the smooth side of the shrink plastic using black Staz-On ink and then dusted decorative chalks on the back / rough side of the plastic. Each panel was trimmed to size and I used a corner rounder punch to curve off the pointed edges. I also punched two holes in the upper corners so I would have a way to hang the finished pieces. I used a heat gun to shrink the plastic and then added the beaded hangers as seen in the picture. Small suction cup hooks were used to secure them to the window. The finished size of each is about 2 x 1 inches. All stamps for this are Blockheads stamps from the Whimsical / Faerie Wings Set and the Whimsical / Take Flight Set.
