The bold black and deep pink of this card's border complement the rich colors of the flowers. Image from Blockhead's "Inspired by Nature" series was stamped on 140 lb. watercolor paper using Memories Artprint Brown ink. Successive layering of colors, using watercolor pastilles, shimmering watercolors and watercolor pencils, is used to create the detailed shading and add depth and shine to the petals.
