Stained Glass ButterflyStained Glass Butterfly

Author : Stacey Dunning

This card was created using the MYS4U stained glass butterfly stamp and the thank you for everything stamp from our verses stamp set.  The images were stamped on matte coated cardstock using Memento ink pads: tuxedo black and bahama blue.  The stained glass image was colored using copic markers.  This is a good example of how copics behave different on matte coated papers than more absorbent paper.  The colors mix different, causing a fun dance of color.  The vers stamp was stamped in Bahama blue and I added a little tuxedo black using a small dew drop pad to help the bottom part of the vers stand out a little.  I added stickles to the flowers and added a drop pattern around the outside to keep the border from beingso stark.
