I got into one of my "what can I stamp on now" moods; stripped the switch plate cover off the wall and decorated it with foil leaf and Blockheads Architecture stamps.

I took a regular switch plate cover - Yup, right off my kitchen wall. (you can buy these very inexpensively at the hardware store if you're not so brave). I brushed on metal leaf adhesive and added various colors of fashion flakes once it got tacky. After the leafing flakes were pressed on and the excess was brushed off I sprayed the switch plate cover with a matte sealer and let it dry. I used StazOn black ink and various stamps from Blockheads Architecture AR501 half sheet collection to decorate the plate. A few coats of Matte Mod Podge were brushed on the finished piece to give it a bit of durability.
