The stamps used on this project have been discontinued.
The artist used what she called a "popping pastels" technique on the background. This was achieved by stamping the images using Versamark ink (should also work with Ranger's Clear Resist and or embossing ink). After drying the ink slightly with a heat gun to prevent smudging, she sponged on pastel chalk with daubers made for stenciling. The chalk showed quite brightly over the stamped image, but remained subdued on the background card stock. She sprayed the card with fixative to keep the chalk from rubbing off. This little minibook has three panels of black faux velvet and ribbon running under each of three diamond pieces of card stock. The ribbon wraps around the book when it's folded and ties in the front.
