EcoArtBoard is 1/4" fiberboard covered on both sides by cardstock. It is made from recycled materials and makes very fun embellishments and altered items. The edges are raw so in the first step we cover the edges with metallic foil rolls. They can't be seen in the picture.
Items Needed:
- EcoArtBoard
- Red Liner Tape Sheets and 1/8" Tape Roll
- Foil Roll, any color
- Lost Coast 3 Flying Flower Girls Stamps
- Clear 1/2 mm Micro Marbles
- Pin Back
Also used, but optional: Dew Drops, 2mm Metallic Silver Micro Marbles
Step 1: Cover the edges with double-sided red liner tape, by adhering the 1/8" red liner tape around the edge of the EcoArtBoard and cut the tape. Remove the red plastic liner to expose the tape and press the dull side of the foil roll to the exposed tape. Pull it away to reveal a metallic edge. Continue until all the edges are covered.
Step 2: Stamp your image on the EcoArtBoard, both sides are stampable so if you make a mistake use the other side. Color in your image as desired.
Step 3: Cut a piece of Red Liner Tape Sheet to match the size of the EcoArtBoard. Pull away the white liner, leaving the red plastic cover in place. Apply the tape over the image you colored. Take care in your placement because you can't pull it away and start over.
Step 4: At this point if you would like to apply more foil roll in certain areas, as we did in the dress on the left pin, cut away the red liner from those areas and press the dull side into the tape. Remove the rest of the red plastic liner, add any embellishments and then cover the rest with clear MicroMarbles.
Step 5: Using glue or a strip of 1/8" red liner tape adhere a pinback to the unfinished side of the pin and you're done!
