This card uses stamps from our Greco-Roman Architecture and Ornament series, which can be found on page of Blockheads Rubber Sheets.
Barbara credits the "holographic background" on this artwork to Leslie Altman who used this technique in the March/April 2001 issue of Somerset Studio. Memories dye inks were applied to the metallic gold paper using cosmetic sponges. Warm colors were applied first, then cool colors. Rubbing Alcohol was splattered onto the sponged dye inks and all were heated with an embossing gun. After heating once, more warm colors were sponged on and heated again. Barbara stamped the several images from our Greco-Roman series and embossed them in black. Highlights were added to the images using neon gel pens.
