SerenitySerenity

THE SHARPIE DOMINO QUEEN

I enjoy designing cards that are different so for this one I created a tri-panel with a velcro closure. I used a Blockhead rubber stamp of a Chinese nature design for the front of the card and another nature scene for the right hand panel.

Photo submitted by Leigh Snaith-Brunton

Both images were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink on white cardstock and coloured with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils. I then edged the stamped sections with a gold metallic paint pen. Based on the size of the larger circle image I was then able to determine the size of the tri-panel card which I made from metallic green cardstock. I covered the whole of the card interior with pink lightweight cardstock that coordinated with the pink I used in the stamped designs. I adhered the large circle image to the front left panel and embellished the center circle with a large Chinese metal coin. The coin has a hole in the center so I attached the coin to the card with a square red metallic brad. I then added a touch of Sparkle glitter to the flowers on both stamped panels. I also added gold brads to the four corners of the card front (2 on each of the front panels). I finished off by adding a white self-adhesive velcro dot to the back of the overlapping circle as the closure for the card. www.VelvetPawCreations.com www.LeighSBDesigns.blogspot.com
