Shattered Colored Glass DaisiesShattered Colored Glass Daisies

Author : Stacey Dunning

This card was made using stamps from the Blockheads Flowers - Daisies sheet, which can be found here.

This is a variation on the shattered glass technique that I've seen demonstrated in various books and newsletters. You simply stamp an image and cut it out. Using a clear embossing ink applied directly to the paper cover the image with embossing ink. Sprinkle clear embossing powder over the image and shake off the excess. Heat the clear embossing powder and while hot apply more and heat that. Repeat until you have 3 layers and let it cool. Once hardened, bend the image until the embossing enamel cracks. Do that until it has cracked several times.

In this example I usedARTZ enamel instead of clear embossing powder. It gives a colored shattered glass effect.
