Crafter's Pick Templates with Color Wash and Perfect Pearls MistCrafter's Pick Templates with Color Wash and Perfect Pearls Mist

Author : Stacey Dunning

These backgrounds were created using the Crafter's Pick 6" x 6" templates.  The top image was actually created by sponging ink over the template using the Tsukineko Smudgee.  The bottom two images were created using a combination of Lettuce Adirondack Color Wash (full strength for the dark one and diluted for the light one) and Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls Mist.  After placing the template over my cardstock, I spritz the Color wash, then lay a paper towel over it to collect the pooled in on the template.  Then I spray on the Perfect Pearls Mist and again use the paper towel to collect the pooled liquid.  That's all there is to the process.  The Perfect Pearls Mist can be applied after the template is removed if you want a metallic sheen in the blank spaces as well.  That was done with the darker sample here.  Rinse the template when done it comes completely clean.
