This image is from our Chinese Princess sheet. These stamps can be found on this page of Blockheads Rubber Sheets.
The image was stamped on the stampboard using an Archival Black Ink Pad. The ink was heat set using a heat gun. The walnut ink was sprayed on and dried and then carefully wiped with a wet paper towel to lessen the blotches. The Chinese characters were colored using Marvy Marker and the crown detail was colored using a Krylon gold paint pen. The stampboard was edged with the gold paint pen as well. Stamped art on stampboard needs to be fixed with a spray fixative. It works best to do a couple of thin coats rather than one thick coat, which can cause inks to run.
