Flocked SweatersFlocked Sweaters

Author : Stacey Dunning

This is a close up of images stamped with a Palette Glue Pad and covered with light blue flocking. The letters were stamped with Leave Memories Big Font stamps and the diamond shaped border was stamped with Blockheads Backgrounds for All Occassions.

FUZZY FLOCKING

Use Stewart Superior Glue Pad to stamp an image, cover it in flocking and heat the image to set the glue. The instructions on the glue pad say to heat the glue before applying the flocking, but it truly doesn't work as well that way and the flocking isn't damaged by the heat from most embossing guns. Take care not to under-heat the glue. If it doesn't cure properly the flocking will brush off. You can't overheat it.

Our flocking products now come in reclosable bags that weigh 1/2 ounce. They nearly fill a 4 fluid ounce applicator bottle.
