LAZERTRAN TRANSFERS FOR PRINTERS


Lazertran (original)
Each Package contains 10 sheets. It was designed to use with color copiers and laser printers. After printing or copying an image onto lazertran soak in water to loosen backing. Clear waterslide decal can be adhered to smooth surfaces. Use turpentine to adhere to rough surfaces or iron to adhere to cloth.

Lazertran Ink Jet
Each Package contains 10 sheets. This product is similar to the original except that it has a matte surface for holding the ink from ink jet printers. That also means that it dries white. This may be a bonus if you want the uninked areas not to appear clear, but will not give the same invisible transfer look of the original.

Lazertran Silk

Each Package contains 10 sheets. This was developed because of the coating that regular Lazertran tends to leave on cloth. It is primarily used for iron on transfering. It is also the better choice for use with polymer clay. You can transfer the image by placing the cut out image, image side down, on unbaked polymer clay for about 30 minutes. When you submerse the clay and image into water, the backing will float away, leaving the image on the clay.

Demonstration Video (now in CD-ROM, no longer in VHS)
This video shows many techniques for using Lazertran and a little bit of Lazertran Silk instruction. It doesn't show using Lazertran Ink Jet at all. The video seems to be aimed toward the contemporary art student rather than crafter. Most stampers would likely not find this useful. Mixed media and contemporary art students or very advanced stampers might find this useful. It is designed for viewing on PC and doesn't work in DVD players.
