Review: I'll start by saying I'd be tickled to get a cut and embossed image as clean as the sample image to the left that Fiskars provides. I suspect that was graphically created and not acutally punched/embossed using their tools.

Paper crafters have found that wetting paper can aid in embossing, especially when embossing with a tool such as a press. Unforutnately, since the paper is being cut at the same time it's being embossed, wetting the paper can cause it to tear instead of cut cleanly. It's a fine balance and I had the best luck when I spritzed my paper or cardstock with paper glide first. It's a hard tool to use and I sure won't be mass producing anything with the embossing border punch, but I do like the result when it works right. I'll just be careful to doing my punch/embossing before putting down my artwork so I don't ruin a masterpiece. I also wouldn't use this on very thick card stock.
